Tonight at the Case abode: Diet time again (just for now). Had a bowl of oatmeal and threw lots of raisins in it.

It's always better left over in my opinion! It looks amazing. Let us know how it turned out. Did your mom do anything special?

We had grilled boneless pork chops, a lovely kale gratin and some not so lovely fava beans from a can I found in the Mediterranean section, despite adding lots of onion, garlic and salt.

yummerooni!!!!! I know fried is not the healthiest option, but I made chicken parm the other night the old fashioned way. Mashed the chicken, breaded and fried then in the oven with sauce and mozarella. Just like grandma used to make.

Tonight, though, I am making a chicken noodle casserole (a healthy'ish version).

just wanted to say the Beef stew was the best I ever made. Meat was soft and not tough and dried out. I am having leftovers of this tonight.
