I sauteed some filet mignon scraps with big quartered mushrooms, cooked a small amount of pasta and tossed that with sauteed onions and orange pepper. For veggies sides I sauteed cabbage and onions and sliced apples and fresh boiled carrots with butter and parsley. I drank 2 glasses of Spanish Rioja so no dessert for me.

Scallops, shrimp, octopus and calamari sautéed in a hot cherry pepper, garlic, anchovy and olive oil sauce over spaghetti!

Not a meal for the faint of heart.

We made a large kettle of Bolognese sauce yesterday, so tonight we had spaghetti with Bolognese, sauteed Tuscan kale, crusty bread, a tossed salad and Montepulciano vino.
