We will dine outside at World of Beer late this afternoon. We aren’t beer fans, but WOB has a rather nice sounding menu now. It’s a lovely, sunny day here.

I wanted to order out for Chinese food so Mrs Driver wouldn't need to cook tonight seeing how it's Mother's day but she insisted on baking a roast chicken with stuffing and made an apple crisp to boot. Might have something to do with my son coming over for dinner. Oh well, I tried. and I'm not complaining.

Went out for an early dinner/late lunch with all my boys at this place in Providence, RI. https://durksbbq.com/
I had a brisket sandwich. I shared an order of braised kale with bacon and an order of wood grilled asparagus, pimento cheese, bbq'd peanuts, carolina pepper vinegar sauce with everyone.

This is the asparagus. This was one of the best things I have tasted in a long time!

This is my brisket sandwich.

I wished I lived in Massachusetts or could at least visit my son who lives there! No shortage of great places to eat in the Northeast

We ordered a lot of food from local Faux French favorite - La Madeleine for brunch. We had quiche Florentine, eggs, sausage, potato galette, and green beans for our first meal, plus chocolate and almond croissants. They packed my order perfectly and it was delicious.

I saved the chicken Caesar salade and one potato galette for dinner. I am still full from the first meal of the day!
