Back from a pseudo-camping trip and the cupboards are bare. I didn't want to go to the store today so I scrounged around and was able to put together a beef and broccoli stir fry with mushrooms and water chestnuts and the last of the basmati rice.

Tonight I finally made that homemade pizza I've been craving. Italian sausage, onion , green pepper, fennel, green olive, red pepper, Parmesan and mozzarella.

I used to make a huge one with the four-and-a-half cups flour crust but DH prefers a thinner crust so occasionally I'll make a large and also a fourteen inch one with the same recipe. So I took one out before it was done and without the cheese on it and will freeze it for later.

I also steamed five heads broccoli and a head of cauliflower that I will use to make that old recipe of rice, cruciferous veggies and melted cheese for a side next week and freeze a couple of containers for later.
