Ever hear about the White Stripe Disease/Syndrome in Chickens? Or is it just another scare tactic by whoever for whatever reason.

They say it happens because of growing the chickens too fast. But chickens are often labeled all natural, no hormones, no antibiotics, etc etc. I just bought some yesterday, and I see the white stripes on them.

So what gives?

They are disgusting. The texture is woody, no matter how long you cook or braise these gargantuan sized chicken breasts. I steer clear of these overgrown monstrosities.

Thanks for the video, it was very informative. I’ve also wondered what those white stripes are.

Heard of it, read about it, seen it, one of the reasons I don't buy chicken breasts any more. And yes, a texture like wood, no flavor, hard to chew. Factory food.

It’s like marbling in beef

It’s against the law to give growth hormones to chickens

Everyone wants to beat up our food supply
Keep in mind 95% of us rely on others to feed them … the local farms use to say
Buy from us!! Last yr during the viral apocalypse the farms got slammed and no way the local
Farms can keep up with demand- some farms are 3 yrs out on cattle special orders

You shut down these so called factory farms and their will be chaos
We learned last year a sense of security is a full pantry and freezer

I advocate anyone and everyone to grow their own chickens ..
As my grandmother use to say if we wanted a chicken for Sunday dinner
She would go out and process one

For those that are concerned about the white lines but the premium
Chicken like springer mountain farms or Murray chicken
