What food odors do you really find unpleasant?

For me, it's the smell of mayonnaise, or egg and mayonnaise. My uncle used to bring a salad made of this into work, and I found it repulsive. Same with the "shrimp dip" my mom makes.

Other people really think Indian food stinks.

I also HATE mayonnaise! The smell is awful and don't get me started on the taste. Blech!

Raw meat. I completely HATE to walk past the meat counter at the grocery store. You can toss in the smell of old fish too. *blllllurrrgg*

Oh, I also hate the smell of sweet pickles. That's totally random but it's just so nasty!

Kimchee

An associate used to bring it to work and he would drive everyone away from the cafeteria table when he opened the container and let loose the foul smell. It smells like something living that had died and rotted in the hot sun. Actually this is not far from the actual recipe process

I really hate the smell after cooking fish - I also REALLY dislike the smell of sweet potatoes done w/marshmallows (you could not pay me to eat it) - that's how is was done when growing up and the smell alone gags me.

As to mayo. - I don't eat it, really dislike it, but never really noticed that it had a strong smell. I also don't like the smell of ground beef when I'm browning it, but we do eat it LOL.
