I saw your post in the Knoxville forum and am glad your granddaughter is doing well--that was really something.

I read somewhere that it was good to brine chicken prior to putting it on the grill. For the next time.

teardrop, I actually brine my chicken 24 hours on purpose! I bet this might be your favorite chicken yet!

I baked the chicken and it was wonderfull...a little salty, I forgot to rinse the chicken off, INHO the husband addes too much salt he did not need to resalt this meal...lol...thanks for everyone who offered advise...

SmokyMtnGal, thanks..you are right...one of the best chickens I have roasted...I will do this again except next time not quite so much salt...lol...
