Talapia dinner done and good. Thank you DH!! Had some good and healthy whole graine brown rice and some asparagus for sides. Good dinner and best yet it's all over and done with!! Now to clean the kitchen and kick back to relax. Tomorrow will be to get the basic weeding and getting things done so I can take all of Monday and even possibly Tuesday off. Then I will at least know for sure what my problem is with my shoulder. I will be busy tomorrow getting the animals ready for me being gone--poor babies!! I am looking forward to a nice simple evening relaxing. Have a good night everyone........

Word has come over the cyber channel that fried chicken is in route. Will Dr. it with wing sauce and call it a winner. If the norm hold true I expect coleslaw and carrot salad..Green tea too.

Good morning all. It's raining again. It was looking so promising and now we are right back to almost floating away. Hopefully the seeds I planted yesterday are OK.

Dinner will be some kind of leftovers. I have a refrigerator full of all kinds of good food. Now I just have to figure out which one of us gets what leftovers, Lil.

I hear ya Lisa...more rain heading our way too. I think your seeds will be just fine and the rain will be just perfect for them. At least I hope so! My tomatoe plants are about four times the size they were a couple of weeks ago--amazing! My rose bushes are doing ok--some already have roses but they aren't growing very fast. I think I am use to how roses grow in CA.
Welcome Britz! This is a fun thread so come and join in....................

Morning Everyone!

Last night ate East Indian with a friend - had chicken byriani. My favorite!

Tonight eating Russian - with a friend. Will let you know what I ordered.

Hoping the rain will help your seeds, Lisa!

I had such a strange day yesterday.... errands and housework.... and RAIN... I tried to get out to garden between drops but as soon as I opened the door it would pour!!! So, I bit the bullet around 7 and just went out in the drip drops and started to weed... by 8:30 it was pouring and windy so I had to stop got a lot done though....

Had pepper steak for dinner, broc w/ a spicy orange sauce and almond slices, mushrooms w/ five spice, and terriaki (sp) noodles.... all homemade and very proud of myself since I ran around so much yesterday! Everyone like the noodles! But only hubby and I were psyched about the entire meal... oh well- can't please everyone I guess... but we thought it was great!

Tonight- I think it will be turkey burgers, pasta salad, baked beans, corn and a cuke/tomato salad.... I have more weeding to do and it is sunny out. I don't want to spend too much time inside cooking today......

The dinner party went great. The 2 couples I threw together did not know each other before and everyone had a lot to say. All the food turned out good...I'd say it was triumphant!
Interestingly, one of the couples had recently met on eharmony, and coincidentally, the other couple's son and DIL had met on eharmony too. Doesn't anyone meet the old fashioned way anymore?

I'm craving meatballs and spaghetti today, but it's too soon to say for sure.
