Hi Foodie Friends: It has been a very busy week here at "k's" house. Weekend company will be here mid afternoon Saturday. To all the inquiring minds, "furry child" thinks her daily time out is still under the 20' ladder, next to the wheelbarrow that is STILL in my LR, next to all the rock that will be a fireplace, hopefully soon.

h is on the stupid shift once again today, so his 3:00 pm dinner was sliced turkey, hm egg potato salad and steamed garden asparagus. I had a left over chicken parm cutlet and lo spaghetti. I am going to look like a strand of spaghetti by the time this week is over.

7:00 pm lunch will be Jersey Mike's subs, if the place is still there, for the 4th day in a row we are currently in yet another Tornado Watch.

Since it is hard to gauge exactly when my company will arrive Sat., I decided to make dinner simple easy, Praline baked honey ham with Pecans, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, sour dough rolls & butter. Lots of Italian Pastries from the Fresh Market, and I know what you are thinking this time I won't be baking the desserts. My girlfriend even volunteered to keep them in her fridge until needed. There will be 5 for dinner and 10 for dessert. If we don't have enough seating a couple of people can sit in the wheelbarrow. What the heck, we are in the South.

Does anyone know where skbs is staying in Disney, I could call her and let her know that kelsie's B&B is open and taking reservations.

Thank's everyone for keeping my seat warm, I will be back as soon as I can.

Lacey, your book will be going in the PO in the morning, I will let you know.

I can smell good stuff coming from the other side of NC Cyn.

Elston, if I don't speak to you, have a wonderful, safe trip, come back with lots of pictures.

Have a great night everyone. kelsie

Ok, when you get time (I know how busy you are!) please post the recipe for your ham egg potato salad!
That dinner sounds simply wonderful! You are really "puttin on the dog"!
Bless your little wheelbarrow heart - you are so funny!
