I know! It's good AND cheap. Anytime I can feed 3 15 y.o. boys (2 football players), DH and myself for $20 with food leftover?

I love haluski! During the winter I made the one from Kelly O's diner. Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives went to it. It was excellent!!

Got a craving for a salad and for beef. So I've been googling a different way to put the two together. Came up with a Thai Beef Salad, which sounds really yummy. Will be going out to the grocery store to pick up the ingredients later. Will let you know how it went.

Leftover halushki tonight with a mixed green salad. Hit the spot, then I hit the pool! It was 110ºF today and the pool was a nice cool 88º!

Got the pork roast cooking in the cp and I can already smell it! Tomorrow's dinner will be good!

Have a lovely evening, everyone!

Oh Kimba I'm glad you had the halushki. I'm thinking it's not in my very near future after all. Maybe in a couple weeks, though

So last night I ended up making rice and nuking a couple tysons breaded chicken strips - liberal dousing of tabasco sauce LOL

Was supposed to see my friends today/tonight but my fever's back so probably will stay in. Sensing a "food rut" coming on!

Feel better, Toosie.

After all this partying and party food, I need to get back to something lighter.

Tonight will make some new potatoes and serve them with cottage cheese and an assortment of veggie tray veggies - carrot sticks, cherry tomato, snap peas.

Some nice fresh basil leaves snipped over all will make a good summer plate.

I am pulling out the second Stromboli I got for free last week from the Bogo sale.... it is Karate Night and I am going to my grandmother's this afternoon. So I have to do quick and easy- ready made stromboli seems to be the answer! LOL..... Don't think we will be heading to the Y tonight as a family unless I meet hubby there after Karate. I swear he really IS getting into this... and I am so glad because I was getting worried about him with the weight he put on. I hope he sticks with it. It will lower his stress from work too.... the man puts so much into his job he forgets how to relax and put it aside sometimes. I think this will help...... Ok... SO stromboli it is hehe I am off to get ready to go to Grandma's...... have a great day....
