Nomad, it must be Italian night.

DH finally gave the gung ho on the 'sketti "gravy", so I made it first thing this a.m. and threw it into the crockpot. It's a bubblin' away as we speak and smells good enough to eat. We'll have it in a bit with angel hair pasta and some french garlic bread. mmmmmmmm.... Oh, and home made French Vanilla Ice cream.

I forgot to mention....meatballs and sausage (mild and hot) are in the mix, too.

We're grilling burgers right now. Fixing them with ketchup, mustard, pickles & chopped onion.

I also made my mom's shells and peppers pasta salad.

Looks like you've got the cooking blues. Well look no further! For Dinner tonight, I am serving grilled artichoke leaves glazed with a paprika/ cyan/ Italian oil mix, along with sun dried tomato/ pork skewers and garnished with a sprig of fresh dill and a drizzle of lime. To give this recipe even more pizazz grate some fresh lemon zest over the pork. Finish it of with a refreshing local ice wine. Cheers!
