I've tried "energy" drinks of all sorts and for the most part, 90% of them sucked and didn't do anything for me... however the ones that did do something were usually the ones sold at vitamin shops and not found in chain grocery stores... They also had labels that said that you shouldn't use it if you have ANY medical problems... I laughed it off and tried it a couple of times... I drank it at 6 PM... and I didn't sleep the whole night and had to go to work in the morning... I forget what the drink is called but dang was it powerful... especially when I usually sleep 10 hour days and wasn't even tired after drinking it... I wasn't restless, I just wasn't tired and couldn't go to sleep... this is someone who could fall asleep in five minutes simply by closing his eyes (my wife hates me for it)...
I too am addicted! I drink at least 2 diet Rockstars a day!! I crave it when I wake up. Now that its summer it takes the place of the morning coffee.............
I don't do caffeine well at all. If I feel sluggish, my body is telling me I'm dehydrated, so I double up on water. I think stores should ban all energy drinks to kids under 18. I also read that daily consumptions of energy, over time, is bad for your kidneys.
Actually at my last physical I asked my doctor and he said it wasn't any worse than drinking coffee. I drink at least 2 diet energy drinks a day and I had a clean bill of health. I drank one before I went in to the doctors office and even my blood pressure was normal!!
I am an energy drink JUNKY and have tried most of them. Redbull to me is a RIP OFF and doesn't do squat. Only good thing going for it, is that it tastes very good.
I prefer the ZERO CARB MONSTER..definitely gives me a buzz and tastes great too and value is awesome.
I ordered a case of GoFastSports energy drink....they got very good reviews on an energry drink review website...I will let u know how it goes.
