Today I realized how home sick I really am. Happy friday and good night sweet dreams! <3
Shucks that is what your mama started this thread for all of us to share! Sorry you are home sick today.

I have GOT to go grocery shopping tomorrow! I am out of many of the basics - couldn't even make cole slaw!
Most welcome!

Busy, busy around here it seems we haven't been home much for over a week. Tonight made chicken & wild rice casserole, beets, kohlrabi from the garden, cottage cheese and watermelon for dessert. Actually that is our later while watching TV munchie.

Grilled rib-eye, corn picked this morning....also grilled. Also a salad made of diced garden fresh tomatoes, bell pepper, seeded Jalapeno, basil, and mozzarella balls mixed with marinated artichoke hearts and marinated mushrooms, using the oil as the dressing.

Found my spunk in the corner with a dust bunny Back with my A game. Turkey burgers with fresh garden tomatoes, spinache, red onion, and swiss cheese. Had to have shoe string fries wet! Oh dear I do mean with gravy..... My little one said gravy is only for mashed taters but he soon changed his mind ha ha ha

I am going to make a sort of tomato gravy and pork chops maybe rice or pasta not sure... Be back tomorrow *wink* *wink*

Oh yeah thanks Akgirl, and Mo! I am on lock down for reps right now but I will be free soon enough

Happy Monday to all you foodies and may your kitchen be filled with great ideas, food for thought, and a pinch of love!

That's my girl! Won't be long and you will be out here visiting and we are really looking forward to it!!! You are all so very missed! Thanks Jax for always being there for us.
The chicken was great last night. We also had summer squash and white potatoes that were cooked on the barbie--to die for!! Yummy!

Still hot so took out some cube steaks as they cook fast. Figured I'd top them with some salsa and fresh veggies and mashed potatoes on the side. We will have fresh cucumbers from the garden sliced to dip, and cut up watermelon.
