If you haven't already tried www.greatschools.net for school reports. Loveland is in the Thompson school district http://www.thompson.k12.co.us/ . For test scores look at 2009 - 2010 CSAP Results and Fort Collins schools are in the Poudre School district which is Poudre School District |.

HELLO,

I am a wheelchair bound disabled veteran.

Is Loveland vet and disabled "friendly?

Are the Summers extremely hot?

Thanks and God bless

I know there is a Disabilities Advisory Commission in Loveland that may point you to some information and resources.

I would guess Loveland is vet friendly, but in my experience there is a reluctance in Loveland to spend money on things that are above and beyond the basics, although perhaps my view is skewed. I'm sure all new facilities comply with ADA.

Summers seems typical Colorado summers - every year is different. One summer I recall every afternoon we had the typical thunderstorm and it cooled off, I never needed to use A/C in my upper-floor apartment. Another summer I recall a heat wave where I walked three blocks at noon along an un-shaded street and almost collapsed, but this is very rare. Maybe a heat wave or two a summer, lasting a week or two? Summers are mostly comfortable, can get hot mid-day, but not humid.
