I have been following this daily, and the lack of info over the last few days really had me worried. Although none of us know you or your daughter personally, please take comfort in knowing that we all CARE! Thank God she is safe.

Thank You Everyone! I am so touched by your kind words, so much so they have brought me to tears.

Obviously we have been having some problems with our kid, or she wouldn't have been where she is at. I cannot begin to tell you the battle it has been, and continues to be, getting her the help she needs.

I'm hoping you can tell us where she was all this time, but if you don't care to, that's fine, we're all relieved to hear she is safe.

Tell her that we DO care and hope all goes well for her (and you) from here on out.
I am to the understanding that Ft Collins Finest found her in Old Towne after receiving a call.

Thank you all again. I had no idea so many were keeping an eye on this thread. It was difficult to update when we didn't have anything new except for lots of miles and lack of sleep. (then hubby wipes cookies and I could not remember password....) Again,
THANK YOU!!

I moved it to Denver as there was a hunch she was there and we wanted the Denver regulars to keep an eye out for her.

Now that we have a happy ending, I will probably move this back to the FC forum where it started.

Thanks again everyone for the good thoughts.

Our current update is that she is residing in our local detention center until a court hearing early this week. At that time, the courts will try to determine what to do with her as she has obviously exhibited dangerous (to herself) behaviors.

Kinda a rock and a hard spot as in Colorado the ony facilities that are a total lock down are detention centers or certain hospital wards for severe mental issues (ie: suicide) - which she really doesn't meet criteria for either.

Thank you again for all of your kind thoughts. I didn't want to leave ya'll hangin'.
