Wow! Thanks to everyone for replying. I'm so glad to hear from everyone and especially UNC about Greeley. I was afraid that it'd be boring outside of the campus and also glad that there's a hospital for volunteering there.

I see a lot of posts about the business school which is good. But how is the acceptance rate? Is it competitive?

Also, this theater.. a poster posted earlier about it playing free classics in the weekends? That sounds amazing if that's true. The theaters I go to are very boring, old, metal detectors in some and almost always a large amount of seats are empty.

Entertainment for me is recreational sports, malls, theaters, game and art stores. I'm not a party person so I can care less for bars :P

As for Pueblo... I don't mean to be offensive in anyway but I heard that Pueblo is "just a sh*thole" by some of my CO friends in the COS area and hell one who lives there for 15 years. Part of the reason why I never considered CSU Pueblo.

Just keep in mind your source as many Colorado Springs residents do not like Pueblo so that would be the same as the opinions you would get from people who live in Fort Collins/ Loveland about Greeley.

That being said I have never heard anything really bad about UNC although its more known as a teaching university and I still think they made a bad move taking their football team from D2 (where they won national championships) to D1 where they can barely win a game. Also, I have heard that CSU Pueblo and UNC will be playing in a couple of years so during your time at UNC (if you decide to attend the school) there could be a fun rivalry starting between the two schools.

Did someone put up fliers on UNC campus kiosks to come post here or something? Or is there one person posting on different computers?

The name is spelled Malcolm Baldrige, btw.

So here's the big question... do you or will you have a job offer upon graduation? If so, did you get hired through the help of on-campus recruiting? In the end, what matters is results, not how good the program feels while you're going through it.

Cool, didn't know that. I thought you could only do that in Las Vegas?

I found this on line and personally I think this is something I would like to see Pueblo adopt in our historic area in the summer by the Riverwalk.

This is from the NCBR:

If all goes as planned, Greeley’s proposed “common consumption” zone could be up and running for the June 8 Blues Jam Kickoff.

What’s a common consumption zone? Well, it’s a designated area where people can legally bring drinks outside, rather than inside, of a bar. Drinkers are identified with special bracelets and drinks with special cups. While the zone’s operation dates and hours are still up for consideration, the Downtown Development Authority is moving quickly to get the zone up and running.

It's called the Go-Cup District in downtown Greeley - it ran all summer, every Friday night during the Friday Fest concerts. Goes til the end of Oct. My wife and I went a lot--fun, good crowds, no problems. There's free outdoor bands at the Friday Fests, so you get to enjoy free live music and your fav adult drink. still it's a family friendly event. would definitely recommend for Pueblo. Greeley had so many inquiries from other city's that the city and the downtown people hosted a workshop for people from around the state so they could learn how to set this up in thier own city/town. Actually, I was offered a job upon graduation due to an internship I had during this past summer. I landed this internship by going to one of the career fairs we had on campus, where I met the company for the first time and handed them my resume. Then I had to do three interviews, which I believe my classes and career services at UNC prepared me for. Sadly, I turned the job down, because it wasn't what I wanted to do after college. And you know what, I turned it down because I KNOW I can get another job in something I would like to do. What job was I offered? I was offered to be a Financial Representative for COUNTRY Financial, a nationwide insurance and investments agency. The certain agency that hired me is located in Fort Collins. If you would like to look into it further, research COUNTRY Financial or e-mail the Agency Manager who hired me and offered me the job: brian.lacey@countryfinancial.com

Also, here is what the Associate Agency Manager, Kyle Mraz (kyle.mraz@countryfinancial), wrote about me: "“COUNTRY Financial hires one intern per year, per agency. We typically interview 20+ candidates from both CSU and UNC for the Northern Colorado agency. This year, we chose Taylor. What stood out with him was his passion to help others, his love and appreciation for our industry, his willingness to take direction and do what it takes to get a job done, his ability to take the initiative when given an assignment/project, and his overall ability to adapt to our office culture when working with multiple independent business owners. We ask alot of our interns and Taylor was able to step up and make an immediate impact."

I hope I answered your question. I had a job offer upon graduation. Yes, it was through the help of Career Services on campus. So in the end, I had results and a great time going through the program.

Thanks for posting that. I like it when cities redevelop their downtown's so its nice to see Greeley doing that.
