Does anyone have the name of any reputable moving people who could help me unload my POD when it arrives in early July? I am trying to keep costs down, but know I need help for a day.

Looks like to me it would be a good time for some fellow positive posters to help a new arrival out and dreamcatcher can have some new friends right off the bat. What do you say??

This would work for me . I'll supply the sodas/water and pizza/subs for a few good hands. I am actually getting the POD delivered on July 10 (don't know what time) so July 11/12 are the dates to unpack. They pick the unit up on Monday. Hopefully the HOA doesn't give me a problem, but a person's gotta move.

If I lived there I would help you out! I'd make my husband help, too!

I'd offer the services of his family but they are all weird!

I hope that a few people on this board offer and you get to meet new friends. I know is will certainly be helpful. If I had this website, back when I lived in Fort Myers, things might have been nicer.

I've made quite a few VERY nice friends on the Knoxville forum.

Thanks, Roadrunner. I also have my son (age 20) who just may be able to come for the weekend as well.

Thanks, Lulu. I appreciate your kindness as well.

I saw a chance of maybe getting some local posters together and put some faces to some names and help a new comer to the area and make a day of it. Hopefully we can do it on Sat. my wife and I have standing breakfast date every Sun. morning with my grandson but we can get that done early. Hope to see some people show up and welcome her to SWFL and show some southern hospitality. Even though most of us are transplants. LOL

Sorry, can't help with the unloading, but I can recommend a mover. William C. Huff they have a website, www.wchuffmoving.com. I've used them twice, very professional, on time, costs reasonable.

Thanks, Mytimenow. I don't really need a mover as I have a POD that will be transported to my driveway. I'm not sure if they unload. I may not need to go that route, but thanks for the name
