Tell us about your favorite places to eat - breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night - anything from fast food to 'dive' to fine dining...

We're fairly new to the area & are still learning what's out there. So far, Joe's Pizza & Pasta (Camp Bowie) is one of our favorites.

Lonesome Dove in the stockyards for steak;
Chef Point Cafe in Watauga (love their lobster bisque, the chicken & waffles, and the bread pudding is to die for...)
Babe's in Roanoke for chicken served family style
Twisted Root in Roanoke for burgers
Love Shack in the stockyards for a "dive-y" burger place
Fresco's on 377 (not sure if it is a chain?) for tableside guac
Bone Daddy's (chain) in Grapevine for sandwiches

Bybos for lunch and Esparanza's for breakfast. Nizza Pizza on North University does pizza right. I work nights so I'm almost never out of the house after 12 noon.

I agree with everything the others have said....I've eaten at almost all of them. Some excellent restaurants that haven't been mentioned yet are all in the up and coming Magnolia St. area: Ellerbee's, Cat City Grill, Lili's, Spiral Diner and Paco and John's.

Ellerbee's is very pricey; the others are medium, except Spiral Diner, which is vegetarian and inexpensive. Cat City has a GREAT Sunday brunch with $5 Bloody Marys and mimosas.
