Hello all!

My family and I are relocating from St.Louis Missouri to Fortworth/Arlington/or Irving Area. We have nver been there and I am concerned about decent schools for my children, and decent area to live as we have no clue. My best friend lives in the Fort Worth area(also from STL) but is unsure of the Irving area which is close to me and husbands jobs. Please give any insight to any nice apartment complex, areas, schools and the like. Thanks!

Ive been searching and looking at different apartments that I fall in love with until I read the reviews

Schools in the 75063 or 75039 zip codes of Irving are fine, Irving is served by 3 different school districts: Coppell ISD is generally zoned for the area north of 635 and west of MacArthur Blvd. it is a very highly rated school district. Carrollton-Farmers Branch is generally zoned to the area east of MacArthur and North of Walnut Hill. It has some schools that are middle of the road but most of the CFISDschools that serve Irving are well rated. Irving ISD is not especially desirable in many of the areas, but also has some good schools. Before you sign a lease, check with the schools to make sure you understand what schools your apartment will be zoned to....don't just believe a leasing agent!
