It's beautiful. very well kept and larger lots etc... we looked at two homes in McDavid and I really liked the subdivision, seemed like lots of families. Aledo was just too far out for us right now.

We've just moved down here and live at Crown Valley Estate which is just the other side of the I20 to McDavid Estates. McDavid has v. nice houses and the kids go to Aledo schools. I think it's well water etc. whereas we are still in Aledo schools although we have a Weatherford address and are on City water. We like being out of the city but near the freeway so that we can get to places quickly. Hope this helps.

Default Nita

Nita, do you have children in the schools? If so, what do you think?

We have a 6th grader and an 8th grader in Aledo schools. We're very pleased so far. The schools have a great band program which my kids love. Any questions I have had while my kids have been settling in (and there have been a few) have been handled really well by the staff. Our neighbors have kids in the Elementary schools and are pleased too.
