I don't know how close this will be to where you live, but check out NorthWood Community Church in Keller. They have an SBC background, but are not traditional in church style. They are very focused on working with other parts of the world...Vietnam, Mexico, etc as well as outreach within the city. You will find that having an interracial family will be embraced and will fit right in with the church culture. Great kids/youth programs, too.

Someone else mentioned CrossTimbers in Argyle...While I have never been there, I understand it is a really great church.

Also, until you get plugged into a church, you might want to visit Bible Study Fellowship at Richland Hills Church of Christ. It is a non-denominational ladies study that meets on Monday nights (not connected to RHCC church...just meets there) at 7:00 starting the Monday after Labor day. There are introduction classes the first Monday night of each month. Great way to study God's Word, and meet and fellowship with ladies from many different churches in the area.

I pray you find the right spot for you and your family to worship!

Another great church is First Baptist Church of Euless. As a member of fifteen years I have seen dramatic changes in its racial diversity, and is very welcoming to new members. We also have a prety big group of families that have been through the adoption process both domestic and internationally. I hope you check us out. I heard Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ in Arlington is a good church. I would think that it would be diverse.I dont think that there's a adoption ministry but I would think that that there are families who have adopted who go there.
