Well I got my first water bill today. It was $ 8.00. How did I do ?

Wow! That is awesome. How did you manage that? I have two little ones and I feel like I'm always washing, bathing or cooking something. I've read various lists for suggestions and implement quite a few, but it's always nice to hear from people who've "walked the walk."

Is that just water usage (i.e. excluding sewer, trash, and other mandatory fees?) Is that for a full month?

Our is a min of $36, but it's billed every other month. We rarely go over $60, though.

It is for the water only. The sewer charge/ pretty much matches the water usage charge. So $ 16 for both but I did an earlier thread about how to save water.

I saw the last tenants water usage ( as the bill show months back ) and that person used twice as much.

The trash I don't pay. I think its all fees. It was for a full month.
