I stayed in a hotel for 8 nights and boy oh boy, having cable is a whole different world! I was able to watch wheel of fortune and jeopardy. Can't wait to get my new antenna hooked up!

We were paying so much for Dish, thought we needed it for the DVR to be able to pause and rewind. Didn't realize our Roku TV with a jump drive can do this. We bought an over the air digital antenna that was super cheap and super flimsy. My husband decided to put it in our attic and mounted it so that it didn't fall over. We used the cables already up there for the lines from the satellite dish to attach to the antenna. The Roku has settings to be able to use an antenna. We do have high-speed wifi anyway and we downloaded Pluto and other apps. We can get up to 30 channels local for free that are super clear and beautiful. Sometimes bad weather will pixelate the images but we had that with Dish. It is so amazing not to pay for a cable bill!

Ours is similar to this one.
