The deck and gazebo at our new house was termite infested, rotting and in danger of coming down on its own. It only took 3 weekends and 203 pieces of new sod to make our yard more dog friendly and ready for BBQs.
It was a lot of work but I think the yard looks so much better!
Now.....on to the mess that is our front yard!
you make me sick. If only hubby had those skills, but he has others. If only I could do something more than grow veggies? Of well I cook.
Seriously, it looks awesome, now you need to take a break and go for an IN&Out burger in Allen. Oh, but I guess Allen is a little to far for you to drive, maybe when they open closer to you plus you probably have no idea what an In&Out burger is.
I kinda preferred the before pic, but then again I have no pets and hate mowing. But good job at doing all that hard work.
Even if we had wanted to keep it (which we didn't) there was no choice on the deck & gazebo. They were termite infested and so rotted that they were about to fall over.

Thank you! DH & I do love our DIY projects. We always say if we got through it with no blood loss and still speaking to each other...its been a good day of work! As for going to Allen...it is a bit far....about a 4 hour drive from here! As for DH....I'm very lucky...his talents are many!
