Mid January, but the first lawn cut of spring will not be long.
Two changes I am making this tear to fight off crabgrass and annual bluegrass, applying Dimension March 1, mid May, August 1, mid Oct.
Applying Caravan G late April and again in June 1. Looking forward to providing feedback on both of these approaches for which many have been asking about.
so the soil temperature is above 50 degrees and it's going to be a record 75 to 80 degrees today but don't put down that crabgrass prevention just yet.
Colder temperatures coming this weekend and putting it down at this time would be premature.
Looking to put mine down in about another 2 weeks. Then follow with a second application in about 2 to 2 and 1/2 months and then a third application and early August.
You just plug in your address, and the company measures your yard, accesses the soil content, rainfall, etc. and gives you the cost of the right program for your lawn. Then it mails you the products.
My son uses it on his lawn and he likes it.
