She used her sunrise tomato sauce. Those buggers taste better than roma's and I kid you not.

Just pulled off 6-7 more heads of cabbage. Will be starting sauerkraut this Friday.

My best performing watermelon right now is from seeds of a store bought Sugar Baby watermelon. I also have two plants from Black Beauty seeds I got in a packet, but they haven't set fruit yet, so I'm not sure that it'll work out...

Might give that a try, though I don't think we'll be making regularly patterned rows like those.

Wow do we have a wild weather pattern coming. It was 95 today, cold front moving thru with 35mph winds, had a brief thunderstorm and a little rain and we're praying it didn't spark any fires. Then the LOWS tonight may be in the upper 40's.

Supposed to get a soaking rain from the North over the weekend which is great, and that tropical storm down near S.Cal is supposed to bring moisture later in the week our way.

Wow! Thats what makes gardening all more enjoyable making dishes. It's funny I'm not a big eater and I don't cook so part of me is like why do I even do a garden. lol
