Pink trees in blossom all over Charlotte NC :-( I would like more cold weather at least for couple more weeks.
We've had no snow this year, usually get 2 days and 1-2" oh well.
The Blue Ridge is 2 hours away and they've gotten plenty of snow, husband will only drive there in good weather.
Tomorrow will be 58 degrees yay. Collards (3 kinds), rape, and mesclun seeds are showing green.
I'll be starting other vegetable and flower seeds soon.

I started my first flat of seeds today. It's early but I "feel" we are going to have an early spring, so I wanted a head start. Mainly tomatoes and peppers. The past couple years they needed more time before fall.

Got my plan finalized. Still 2.5 months away from transplanting anything.

Yeah, we have a storm coming in, 60 mph gusts and about 3 inches of snow. The nice weather got me excited about the veggie garden.

And look at it now! What a difference a week makes. One on the right is 1/2 fert twice.
More fuller than full fert once. Both these are doing better than the one potted up without fert.

I'm doing 1/2 fert every 2 weeks (2-6-2). Full fert every month (4-12-4). Will keep in same cup

Four inches of snow, and I'm sitting here buying grow lights.

Do not feel alone! I got the bug and I got it bad. Seeds are here, pot bags are here, yesterday we had snow and sleet, now it is t-shirt weather. Everything is a swamp and the pot garden/raised beds are in the middle of the final throws of a greenhouse around the hot tub. Not to mention the roof has a leak and I cannot move anything:>( Gladiolas went into pots for the front door and I have a lot left. Cannot give any more away. Do people think they are zucchini in disguise? SO got me a mini auger for an old drill so I will entertain myself with bulbs in the front yard later today.

I just died. Too funny.

I had to stop myself starting more seeds. I have no where to put them until the heat maps and grow lights come in.

I still don't know what I am doing - but I am less ignorant than last year.
