I got my AutoClusters report back, had 73 DNA matches in 15 different clusters, with 350 cM as the cMMax threshold and 10 cM as minimum threshold for shared DNA matches. Still going through the data.

Neat, still waiting for MyHeritage to process the accounts I manage with Autoclusters. I will share once I get the information back.

I got mine yesterday for all 5 profiles I manage.

Been going through them on breaks today for myself - I had 13 clusters. Out of 13 - 10 of them were paternal for me, which was shocking! But I am exciting to work on them as I am focusing in 2019 on my father's ancestry so it provided me a lot of tasks to take on.

Over the weekend I'm going to go ahead and do my best to sort out the maternal/paternal sides of my dad and my grandfather and my maternal great aunt. It is harder for me to recognize their maternal from paternal so did mine first.

Wow! Results back and they are amazing! My wife's family clearly auto-clusters by island: Ikaria, Fourni, Kalymnos, Samos, and a few smaller/distant groups that are Macedonian Albanians. As I had suspected, the Fourni islanders have plenty of shared matches with Ikaria and Kalymnos, but still form clusters in this software (though not completely consistent among the three generations of samples) that show closer relationships with each other.

Some smaller clusters are also clearly linked to one island or another through family trees, but these people lack the quantity of shared matches with the larger groups (these are admixed individuals with closer relations to each other, I think.)

So cool, so much to learn. I had suspected many of these relationships, but to see it visually is SO USEFUL!

Out of all of them, I may know cluster 3, I recognized a last name as coming from my mothers fathers brothers descendants. I messaged the person to see. I couldn't get any of my ancestry matches to upload there so it will be nice to know there is one there. Nothing with my mothers mothers sisters although I know I have a few matches on that line and nothing with my uncle. The rest of the clusters are unknown. I don't even share ethnicities with some of them. I ordered ones for all the samples I run, they haven't been emailed yet

I initiated the request for AutoClusters yesterday and it said it could take anywhere from a few hours to a day. I still haven't received anything. I believe it said it would be emailed to me.

How long did it take for you and did they email it? Was there anything on My Heritage to let you know it was completed? Thanks!

Mine took overnight to be done. The email contains a link to your finished AutoClusters page, an excel file of the AutoClusters data and a pdf explaining what your results mean and how to interpret them.

Not sure about this, but maybe the more DNA matches you have in that predetermined range the longer it might take for them to generate your AutoClusters.

I got my report this morning.

I have 19 clusters. At this point I only know that one cluster matches to my mother's maternal line. There are so many on My Heritage from other countries so I have no clue who these people are. I wish that was one of the data points that they included in the spreadsheet. I will probably gather that and add to it.

I also received these two messages on my report....

# The following 51 matches met the inclusion parameters but were placed in a cluster without other members and so are not included in the chart:

# The following matches have been removed from the AutoCluster analysis since they did not have any shared matches:

Odd, I figured your recent Euro-ancestry would have lead to bigger, tighter clusters. Anyone else getting easily recognizable groups, either by ethnicity, known descent, or other recognizable trait? Anyone else getting larger clusters?
