Don't limit yourself to just one country.
For most americans moving outside of the country is not an option. If it was so easy to pack up and move to Canada/Europe/Australia many of us would be long gone. I mean you can go for 3-6 months at a time, there for student visas, etc... But living and working there permanently is an entirely different ball game and is much stricter in reverse for U.S. citizens than people coming here.

Lexington, KY would have a great quality of life barring its faux "riche" snobbish attitudes, psychedelic University of Kentucky basketball worshiping and small town mentality. Other than that, it can be a beautiful place and its downtown is coming back to life in a very positive way.

That name is just so bizarre sounding - Papillion. I can't imagine telling people I was from Papillion.

Papillion is usually shortened to Papio by the locals. Sounds Italian, though.

The only people I've heard call it Papio are people who don't live there. There are a few businesses that use it but that's about it.
