Probably cracker or redneck in FL, although I've heard Floridiots before too. Of course in places like TN or KY, I've heard hillbilly, which with the latest epidemic of pain medication infiltrating these areas, I've heard "pillbillies" too.

"redneck" "country" or just plain "Southern" I mean I'm from Memphis, but we still use these terms to describe people who are relatively "more Southern"

I find it interesting that we live in the South and we're technically all Southerners, but people use "Southern" as a way to describe someone, usually if they have a thick accent. Do Northerners ever describe people as "Northern" if they display strong Northern characteristics? whatever they may be. jw...
