Seriously but why in the world isnt Houston on this poll? Houston is the fourth largest city, has the third largest skyline, global city...
That's why my first post in this thread said "someone might bust your chops" or something along those lines. I knew people would not like the limitations of the list.
I agree with you about Houston, but the thread-starter gets to make the list. If Houston is included, then why not make an argument for Dallas, San Francisco, Denver, etc.?
Jake gets to post his own list. We can each post different ones, I reckon.
But Houston might have gotten my vote if it had been on the list. It's the one that blew my mind the most when I first set eyes on it.

You and every other pair of working eyes, lol. People say they know what there is to Houston, but I'm convinced that most people on this General U.S. forum haven't even been there. Seeing its skyline on a computer screen is one thing. Seeing it face to face is a whole other story.
VA Lover, we all get that you love Virginia and everything there is better, your small towns have skylines that blow away Chicago or New York, and the moment you cross the border and leave VA then your life will go downhill quickly.
Rosslyn is just part of the greater DC area. I believe there are height restrictions.
Seattle when viewed from the water is arguably the most picturesque, but NYC is tops for impressiveness. Chicago is second (and great architecture). As far as livliness, it is NYC. Seattle could fit in Rockfeller center. When you are IN NYC you feel like you are in the center of the world (not that it is). No other place compares for energy/impressiveness.
Huh? Seattle could fit in Rockefeller Center? No, not even close. Rockefeller Center has one high-rise, several mid-rises, and is contained in a 4-block area. (I know the newer buildings across the AofAmericas were added, but still...no comparison.) Obviously, you have never been to Seattle.
Location: I wonder... hmmmmm... maybe... I live somewhere in that pleasant state of VA, Mother of Presidents.
