Theres alot of nice neighborhoods on the westside of Cleveland, but the whole city gets a bad reputation because of the Eastside.Im from an Eastside suburb. But I wanna try something a little different for college, but I still wanted the city to be in the Midwest.Thats why, thanks to alot of yall's help,I've decided its gonna be either Detroit or STL.

This might be the hardest decision I've ever had to make in my life.Detroit is ahead by a little bit,but not by much. They both sound like they have alot to offer.

Let us know what you decide.

I dont know Detroit that well, but are there actually places in the city where college students can safely live at?

o come on you almos tmade it a sentence befor dissing my city. okay I wont diss stl and you wont diss detroit, fare.lol. yes there are. midtown where the campus is, is a very safe neighborhood. docotors are in and out of the DMC and pre med students are leaving WSU's med school, along with the rest of the students. I took a cruise through midtown the other day and theres students reaidng books right on the boder of campus and students walking to resturants nearby, and students taking jogs through Midtown and brush park. I have read several posts about students who take jogs at night through Midtown and they never get bothered. the school is pretty populated so there are alot of college students goign across the road of campus to palces along that street and way farther down. so all that is safe. you can find a college student pretty much anywhere in the WSU vicinity. and then you start bumping itno the DMC, Detroit medical center and then theres doctors and nurses and what not. so the area is very sophisticated like.nice try Razzy

I pick Detroit because I hate St. louis's rappers, and Detroit reminds me more of Pittsburgh. They both kinda remind me of PB.

Because you hate St. Louis' rappers, huh? Wow...since when did rappers come to define a city?
