Hey, I'm wondering what would be the best place to start over fresh. I'm not in any type of trouble or anything lol. I'm currently in iraq on my 3rd combat tour and will have about 40 grand when I get out of the army. I'm 24 yrs old and have been in the military since i was 17. I'm going to college when i get out but I dont really wanna move back to my home state or stay where im currently at and go to college. I guess i'm just looking for a place where i don't know anyone.

Thank you for your service. I am truly grateful.

What are your interests, city type and climate preferences, major, etc.? What is your home state?

if you are going to be discharged from the military move to a state with the highest unemployment benefits. even if just to get an unemployment claim going. I believe MA has the highest. you don't want to get stuck in a state that pays lousy benefits causing you to blow through your 40k before you find a job.
