This thread is kinda strange. Why? Because every single state in the USA has areas that are boring to drive through. Every. Single. One. Even vaunted scenic states like Colorado have areas that are so drab that youll be guaranteed to be bored to tears.

Typical CD thread.

Like the "which state is most beautiful?!" threads. How about all of them. All states are beautiful. This country is beautiful, and vast, and boring all at the same time. How about that??

Yeah, I don't like this thread. I would love to be driving across pretty much any state at any time. What I find boring is sitting here in my house and staring at my laptop.

It also has to do with when you drive through. For instance, the Caprock in Texas is really ugly in spring when everything is plowed up, but if you go through there when the cotton is in bloom it's really beautiful in it's own way.

Nebraska bar none. It takes an entire day to get through W/E and it's nothing but corn.

Heck, driving through Iowa is an upgrade in comparison, and that's not saying much.

Illinois. Flatter than Paris Hilton and with no noticeable vegetation.

There are no boring places; there are only boring people.

I'm surprised I-10 through Texas hasn't been mentioned more. Boring scenery for an extremely long time.
