It should be "you guys". No offense to anyone but "y'all" just sounds really dumb if you think about it.
This is something I have NEVER understood. How does y'all sound dumb? It's just a contraction of you all. Or you can think of it as saying you all really fast. You guys, on the other hand, is most often grammatically incorrect. It sounds pretty dumb when people refer to a group of girls as "you guys".

same way people think saying water bubbler (bubbla) or Frappe is stupid, because they dont say it.

No offense, but if you were addressing a group of women or at least mixed company, "you guys" sounds just as dumb. At least y'all isn't gender specific.

I agree. It is just a contraction. It also sounds easier on the ears.
Girls are not "guys", which is a masculine noun.
You know, "guys and gals", "guys and dolls". Guy is masculine.
"You guys". My mother moved to California from Oklahoma when she was in high school. She thought the girls saying "you guys" when referring to each other sounded pretty stupid. She said she was also laughed at the first day of school when she addressed her teachers as sir/ma'am. Back then in Oklahoma you'd better address your teachers with respect! If California it was much less formal.
My older brother moved to Kentucky in the 90s (just across the state line from TN). I remember visiting him for the first time and we went to the local Wal-Mart. When we were ready to check out I scouted out the cashier with the shortest line. I called out to them "You guys, this check stand is open!". Everyone in the place swung around to look at me like I had just said a dirty word.

Haha...it probably wasn't what you said, but your accent.
There are plenty of people around here that say "you guys." That alone wouldn't raise many eyebrows.
