Even not being a sports fan, you'd be surprised at a home game in Death Valley. Especially if we play Florida or Alabama. You'd think some people really have tiger blood..
Yeah just something about that place , i can see how it would get into your blood and your psyche- would have to be a night game from what i hear
as the day games dont have the same magical appeal.
Maybe one of these days I can fly down there and hunt down a ticket
Not to worry i would sport a lsu theme
Because of college sports reasons(either football or basketball), I have a mild interest to one day visit these places:
Fayetteville, AR
Columbus, OH
Gainesville, FL(it's sad I probably won't get around to visiting it, before my friend currently going to UF grad school graduates! still want to see 'The Swamp' one day)
Baton Rouge, LA
Lawrence, KS(U of Kansas basketball, plus I've read that Lawrence is pretty decent)
Tuscaloosa, AL
Eugene, OR
Boise, ID(guess you can thank its infamous blue astroturf, for my interest!)
Knoxville, TN(not sure how I almost forgot this one)
Due to the fact these places have a pro sports hall of fame:
Cooperstown, NY
Canton, OH
Toronto, ON
Springfield, MA(correct me if I'm wrong about the city where the basketball hall of fame is located in)
And as for the Upper Peninsula, I think you'd love visiting that area, cacto. I one day would love to go back, but of course due to the very cold weather, I wouldn't consider visiting there outside of summer or fall!
