Least favorite: California (though it is very pretty)
Favorite: North Carolina (beautiful landscape, and friendliest people ever)

Favorite: Idaho
Least Favorite: Illinois, I live here and it is miserable, corrupt government, no jobs, no entertainment, it's just a stain.

favorites: colorado, vermont, virginia, oregon, north carolina

new jersey has zero redeeming qualities, therefore i vote it as my least favorite. even just driving through or stopping to visit semi-distant relatives boils my blood. hate that state with a passion. every part of it. even the "nice" parts suck (mostly thanks to the locals).

Favorite: Washington (so far)
Least favorite: Either Indiana or South Dakota, but that's just based on driving through.

Pittsburgh is nice but its not big enough for me. I like metros above 3.5/4 million. Nice place but too small of a city for my personal tastes.

Because I really (really) hate the weather and I can get all the things both these states offer without the weather somewhere else. The very minute I can permanently leave the pnw will be the happiest move I will have ever made.
