This is if you perform the relatively easy task of counting all of the obviously native individuals, count the blonds, then calculate the percentage. Traveler has no clue how statistics work, and is strongly influenced by emotional biases.
Traveler feels confident that he's established the British isles to be a continuum of phenotypes across the region with no real difference between England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, etc. To him, they are all native old British stock with no Anglo-Saxon or Viking additions especially to the English. With this in mind he thinks nothing of using Irish and Scottish teams and group photos to illustrate the English. He thinks nothing of cherry-picking Irish and Welsh individuals like the Beatles and the Gallagher brothers to display the quintessential Englishman. Even Michael Carrick has a Scottish name. He'll use Liverpool as material knowing of the huge Irish and Welsh population there. These are the little games he plays. I don't know why he doesn't get banned more often.
Good point. One thing I'd add is that even if he had proven his point about the British Isles, he still hasn't connected it to this thread topic.
Maybe if Traveler86, Don Cabellero, Debian, and all of his other split personalities got together they could convince themselves they're right with a consensus.
It was never his intention to connect it to the original question, let alone answer it. He only used it as yet another springboard to broadcast his opinion. I could make dozens or even hundreds of threads and post about Spaniards being no different from Berbers in both looks and genetics. My ace having visited Spain several times, and seeing it firsthand in my travels. Everyone disagrees and uses good crowd photo comparisons plus genetic pie graphs and autosomal tests. I use my own photos with cherry-picked dark individuals from the Canary Islands with terrible lighting, while dismissing all those geneticists as idiots who are just wrong without explanation. They're all hillbilly's from the Ozarks while I'm world traveled.
The point is anyone can say anything. Even if they proclaim so much experience, that's not going to necessarily derail common established knowledge and proper scientifically delivered fact just because they think differently. I could say smoking is harmless because three of my chain-smoking relatives lived passed 90, so therefore all other statistics are bull. If 35% of the English above are blond, he'll only see the 65% that aren't and ignore the other. If 35% of the Germans are blond, he'll only see that and ignore the 65% that isn't. I mean really how could someone say the English are so rarely blond and the Dutch are almost always. If you account for everybody in your study you get accuracy and maybe a surprise, and if you don't you're not wanting any surprises.
In general it's very noticeable seeing a group of British people or a British TV show that they stand out a bit from American whites. Their skin-tone is the first thing, being very pasty white in higher percentage, makes Americans seem mixed or only a variation of the original. British are also lighter eyed and blonder with higher numbers of true unmixed northern European looking individuals. Americans have pockets where these types are common, but across the whole spectrum of white America they appear as either a variant or dissimilar (Italians in the Eastern seaboard, Slavic people in Chicago etc). In many cases the layman will not distinguish the German from the British American. Both are predominantly brown haired with blonde minorities and usually have a northern European facial feature. Exactly!!!! In my travels to Germany I saw the same thing, and you've confirmed it as 100% true. Germans ARE typically mulatto. All of those genetic studies are bull****, and only conducted by racist American hillbillies who have never left the mountains. I've been there and seen it, and you're obviously as high class as me, so we have a full consensus.
