Yeah because, you know, Californians NEVER knock on Texas...

Hey, come to think of it, I like Colorado a lot too.
Most states in the U.S. have pretty similar characteristics with their border states. So, I don't see how it makes much sense to be particularly "proud" of living in any particular state.

Idk you just feel attached to a place where you grew up.
Grew up in Minnesota, laughed in Minnesota, cried in Minnesota, made great friends in Minnesota, experienced some beautiful Minnesota scenery, cheer for Minnesota pro teams so I kind of feel an attachment with Minnesota.

I moved away and almost cried when I was removing my Minnesota license plates.

Hey now. The K-12 education leaves quite a bit to be desired, but the university level is world-class.

This whole post (and all the others on this sub-subject), ring of jealously. Take a chill pill.

See earlier and the difference in misplaced, arrogant, pride, and a pride born from being proud of your history, culture, and heritage. Sorry if you don't get the difference.

Actually, believe it or not, most Texans don't give California a thought at all. LMAO, if you think otherwise.

But whatever. Question? Why are so many long-time Californians fleeing the state? And then so many of them moving to Texas...?
