And finally I can totally understand why someone from a latin country who looks more "black" would be offended if someone said they were, mainly because they may not see themselves that way. Race is a social construct and what may be called black in one culture is not the same in another culture.
I mostly agree
If the one drop was literally true, then about 30% of American white people would be consider black. Forget about DNA for a second, many people in America look at race by your appearance. For ex. Wentworth Miller and Pete Wentz(Fall Out Boys) are mixed race, but they are probably seen as white in some cases.

Actually, if you went by the "one drop rule", everyone would be Black in the world considering the findings of where human life started. That's why I call it the "Known Black african ancestor rule" instead.

You OBVIOUSLY do not know what you are talking about. Obviously. Besides, I'd rather have a thick women in the waist and legs with smooth chocolate skin than an anoxeric broke down one walking in the streets of Oakland. (This was no diss to Oakland just a rebut to you on your diss to the Black Southern women in the South which is more abundant in the South considering that the South has more blacks than the West Coast or any other region).

No, I've really gotta go with 415_810. The Black women in the West, Mid Atlantic, and North are more attractive if only for being less obese on average. Call it "thick" all you want, it's essentially "overweight".

I'm sorry but when I'm in the South, I do not see obese black women. I just came back from the South this weekend and did not spot ONE fat women. I found thick women in the waist, a perfect stomach, and more. Unlike in the North where I have seen very skinny to the point of nearing anorexic, boring, shapeless women that it becomes the north up there. If the woman is overweight because they're thick. Than the women up North and the West are bulimic because they're skinny.

Again, you'll see a bigger diverse of thick, thin, whatever in the South because it is still home to the nation's largest black population by FAR.

A large chunk of the women in the south are over weight regardless of race.

How much longer are we going to do these stereotypes and generalizations? Here's the deal, all regions have their problems regardless of anything. The South does have their share. They also have their share of beautifully shaped gorgeous women.

It isn't a generalisation, it's demonstrable that there are higher rates of obesity there. And seeing as it's poverty related, it's of particular concern among blacks.

Why obesity is so high in the South - Diet and nutrition- msnbc.com

It's high in parts of the midwest as well.
