Well, by living in my grandparents' house in the Bay Area, I would be saving a ton of money not having to worry about rent or food expenses (they cook). I'd be saving money from the high SF salaries while most people who live in California can't even make it on a high to six figure salary.
So if money isnt an issue just gain a job for experience before going out West. Which close by to you now, is either Boston or DC.
Well OP also said he couldnt get a job out there. But I mean you literally could work at starbucks for $18-20 an hour, without paying rent and look around.
Im assuming the 'lies' were address lies. Which everyone does to get considered for a job closer.
