I mean, it’s hard to argue with water or mountains, but I’m a desert guy through and through. Good desert views which include mountains are excellent.

A city skyline is best to me. Mountains and oceans are useless at night.

Mountains, but only the mountains in the east, the western mountains are too stark for my enjoyment.

Why are people obsessing with a view at night? Eyelids are what we view most at night. I hear view, and I imagine scenery I see in the daytime.

That said, stars over the ocean (or really any vast expanse, like the desert) are preferable to me than city lights.

More people prefer tall buildings to forest/desert? Weird

Ocean view is best, maybe best of all a bay or estuary because there is more dense visible wildlife in those areas than an open oceanfront
