I once was in a skyscraper on the Miami coastline and I watched a water sprite form and do it’s thing. It was really cool to see especially up high.
I can’t vote for both forest and mountain so I don’t know how I can vote on this poll. Since mountain is separate are we gonna assume it’s a naked mountain like the desert mountains around Phoenix? But then desert is also it’s own category…
I voted forest but my choice would have been valley views. Looking down into valleys, especially at this time of year is breath-taking.
I didn't choose mountain because I assumed you meant being in a valley looking up at the mountain view, but I prefer the reverse- being up in the mountains/hills looking down in the valleys. Throw in some ocean and I am sold.

I am going to vote “other”, only because I prefer a water view—specifically, ocean and/or bay. Bay was not an option and I did not want to pigeonhole myself by just selecting ocean.
I have not interest in water view if hurricanes are a risk or mountains if they are too high and get too much cold and snow. I prefer a humid climate as that means water is probably plentiful or not in short supply with a half component of competence by local gov. So desert is off for me
I like a low crime location near day to day amenities I need to access, the view is a low consideration
Ocean/body of water. (Preferably non-touristy though.)
Having lived on the West Coast I could also appreciate the majestic mountains as the backdrop.
Tall buildings don’t interest me. I hated it actually especially you could see other people working/living in their building. Rear Window it wasn’t.
My husband’s previous apartment in NYC was near Financial District and Tribeca, its rooftop was massive with close-up Brooklyn Bridge view (absolutely beautiful at night.) but one side was the office building across the street.-I can’t tell you how awkward it was seeing guys picking their nose while eating their microwave dinner at the office thinking no one could see them.
