Here’s Across the Globe’s list of “the top 10 American cities everyone is moving to in 2023.” A few of them are the usual suspects: Austin, Raleigh, Phoenix, Des Moines, Boise, a few Florida cities. I watched the video patiently. The photography is high resolution and beautiful. They cite census statistics and business magazine opinions. Much to my satisfaction, Charleston is #2.

Does anyone know when the 2022 MSA estimates release? I know that it happens this month, but I can't find the date.

Don't they also update what counties are in the metro areas as well?

I believe that's correct. It's the 2022 data with the definition changes.

County population estimates will come out on March 30. I don't think they are explicitly publishing metro numbers on that date, but they can be calculated based on counties.

Seriously? So instead of releasing all states sans CT in March they are delaying the release of ALL data until May because CT can't get its act together?

Default Latest Population Growth Numbers by State

Growth numbers from July 2021-July 2022 and the ten-year data set (2010-2020) show some interesting data, much of which does not match the "news" sensationalism of residents fleeing certain states in droves. https://www.pewtrusts.org/en/researc...ts-the-fastest
