Flagstaff. It would have to have any scenery at all to be better than Reno's. Ha Kidding. But seriously, Flagstaff has great mountains and lush vegetation for AZ.

I have never been to Flagstaff. But I think University of Nevada is a much nicer campus. It is beautiful, it has a very east-coast feel.

Reno actually doesn't have terrible scenery. It is surrounded by mountains in a river valley. Also only 20 minutes from Lake Tahoe.

If you've never been to Flagstaff, how could you possibly claim that UNR has a nicer campus than NAU?

The pictures I've seen of lake tahoe and the sierra nevadas are gorgeous.

Both of which are NOT in Reno. They're both quite a ways away.

I have seen pictures of NAU, and it doesn't appear to be all that nice.

Also, Tahoe is about 20 minutes from Reno, and the Sierras are maybe 5-10 minutes. Reno is surrounded by the Sierra foothills.

Tough call. Flag and Reno have good scenery for the most part. Ill give Flag the slight nod just for the smell of those sweet ponderosa pines. Mmmmmmm.

Definitely sounds nice. Reminds of the church I used to ride by in hawaii on my motorcycle. There were some kind of yellow flowers on the side of it that smelled great.

So I'll rephrase my question and include reno, flagstaff and there surrounding areas(say within a hours drive).

Bigdave are you a student at UNR? If so, how do you like it?
