Say hypothetically both Europe and America made it so in no way shape or form people from third world countries could come over even to the extent any trying to come here in boats for example when told to go away and they didn't got shot at/blown up what would happen?

To some it may seem very heartless but considering they are nothing less than a drain on our resources and bring with them crime and beliefs/traditions completely incompatible with the way 1st world countries operate would it not in the long run be best?

I'd imagine they would have to start dealing with their own problems rather than running away and relying on the generosity of other countries to fix their problems..

Better yet, send all those who's grandparents weren't born her back where they came from. Those who are refugees - give them a rifle and 200 rounds and wish them luck.

What would happen? Well they could stop sending our money out of the country in remittance. They could direct their efforts to getting rid of their despotic rulers. Those people who we did allow to emigrate would be people we NEED, not those who take our jobs and work cheaper - not talking sugarcane cutters, but IT professionals from India who work for one half of american wages.

Like my IT job - I made $125 per hour - outsourced to India - base pay there, $10.00

The average age would increase and the birth rate would decrease.

This gentleman puts emigration in a different light. In a nutshell, that countries who take the most ambitious, most skilled, are harming the immigrants native country.

You might be surprised...many of these people aren't leaving their homes willingly, they are leaving at gunpoint. They are running from chemical bombs. They are running from artillery. Often delivered to them BY THEIR OWN GOVERNMENTS.

So running towards an America with guns pointed at them can still be preferable to what is pointing at them from behind.

Since the definition of Third World relates to countries that were unaligned during the cold war, the U.S. and allies were the First, countries in the Soviet sphere were the 2nd. How do you define third world country? I think that would be a good start.

True then after that their would be a period of peace/prosperity like Japan then the economy would collapse due to the social structure. The American population would decline there would be a general lack of young people and likely ads would be displayed begging parents to have more kids. American cities regardless of region would start to decline leaving housing abandoned. Europe and America would become similar to Russia losing millions of people every decade due to old people dying and not as much babies being born. As the number of people between the ages of 35 and 25 decline other countries will start to catch-up on America due to the lack of a brain drain. The only Americans left would be Native Americans, AA and White Americans. People like Steve Jobs wouldn't be able to happen due it of his Syrian ancestry, education wise 70% of all the Asians from India and maybe China would hav to leave and only Koreans and Japanese would stay. New York wouldn't be as great a city "as" a lot of its famous food restaurants would close. Miami would be half empty and not enough people would be able to fill housing. This would cause Florida, Texas and California to all go into a serious decline (more so than other states) when you think about it. The only state that maybe unaffected ironically is one of the least white states, Hawaii. America would also lose a lot of GDP and a few companies would likely relocate if half heir workforce is deported. A portion of our military size although it would only amount to 10 maybe 15 percent.

Now for the good things, more housing available for homeless or poor people to move out of their neighborhoods into areas with better neighborhoods as housing becomes dirt cheap. Smaller amount of people to manage as America likely lost 60+ million or so people. The prices of everything in general would go down. Less traffic. Poverty may slow down as infrastructure would be able to accommodate areas like Flint or Gart Indiana to be unnecessary with all the cheap available housing in the suburbs and across the country.

Any country that is not a first world country or a developing/emerging country (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) is a third world country.
