Teen boys are screwed (No pun intended.) no matter what.

Parents of teen girls use the courts and sexual preditor against the boys because it's easier than admitting their girls aren't pure princesses.

If the girl is 14 and the boy is 16, D*MN the boy. If the girl is 16 and the boy 18, again, D*MN the boy. If a 16 year old boy should be the responsible one, then why wouldn't you hold the 16 year old girl to the same standards of responsibility?

Ruining a boy's life because of having teen sex is outrageous.

What makes it even worse is; if the girl is 16 and the boy is 14, it is STILL D*mn the boy.

This sounds like stalking not thinking.

Both should know. I imagine it would be the same with a 17 year old girl and a sixteen yr old boy.

I don't think it's appropriate to compare age differences between adults and kids. It's like dog years. People don't take issue with a 25 yr old dating a 20 yr old. But, most of us would with a 15 yr old and a 10 yr old, no?

The 16 year old boy AND girl were sex offenders because sexual immorality before marriage is sexual deviance ... but we all knew that inherently ; its just that most of us became so desensitized to it that its now looked upon as the norm .
Do I think our society has become more sexually permissive? Yes I do. However, sex still is a natural physical desire. You talk in very moralistic terms that to me are very narrow.
There is a matter of apples and oranges here in my opinion. Because our young men and women have sex at an earlier age does not mean they are sex predators. Also, there is a difference to have a sex addiction as human have addictions on other things and not necessarily be sex predators. Again, having sex at earlier ages does not mean you become a sex predator or sex addict.
You have some moral views on sex, that is fine. However, I believe your moral views cloud some logic there. Read more on sexuality. Maybe attend a good Human Sexuality college course and you may find out how sexuality is handled under different cultures in different societies and in different religions, etc.

You have a great day.

Truth is, there was a time when most girls, even in the USA, got married and started families in their mid teens. Now we expect them to wait until 18-21....and I'm just not sure how realistic that is. I was devastated when my 16 year old daughter got pregnant. Now she is 20, is a great mom, goes to college, holds down a job and isn't the least bit emotionally scarred. Maybe society is totally over-thinking and over-moralizing the whole issue.
