Millennials are the Gen Y population cohort which followed Gen X, and are generally figured to be between the ages of 9 and 31 today. Some of them may be boomerang kids, some not. Many millennials have not yet left their parents' homes.

Boomerangs are those of any age who have lived independently, but at some point have returned to living in their parent's homes. The earliest of these were Gen Xers.
