Plastic Bag bans

Our local Kroger sells those canvass bags. We buy them from time to time, but we never remember to grab them when we go back ot the store. Thus, we either end up with paper or plastic or buying more. A lot of times, I just forgo any bag and put the groceries in the cart, then in my truck, then when I get home, I can get those stupid canvass bags I always forget and use them to bring stuff in form the car. That is the only time you really need bags - getting stuff form your car to your house. Otherwise, it is just a matter of seconds difference.

Something I've seen people do is to not bother with bags at all; of any sort.
They'll just put the groceries right back into the buggy and roll it all out to the car.

In the trunk they have a cooler* for the frozen and cold stuff...
and then two or three plastic bins for the rest. It works well.
