I use Neem oil to control insects and fungus on ornamental plants.
I use Borax around the house and in mulched beds to control roaches
I use amdro to control fire ants, it's the only thing I've found that really works. I only sprinkle around the mounds I discover. There has been a lot of study on bringing in the natural control insect from South America, it appears to be benign on native ants but deadly to fire ants. I believe it is currently being released.

That sounds fun. I do concur with the dirt floor part.

We still have bullet holes though windows and walls from things getting a little wild with the wildlife from time-to-time.

Stepping out a little further -- anyone know or ever try of any RF (radio frequency) pest control methods? Was thinking along the ag/plants.
